When are the allocations?
Wine club allocations are twice a year, in the spring and fall. You can pick up your allocation at the winery, or you may have it shipped.
If I choose to have my wine shipped, which service do you use for shipping?
We usually ship within California via GSO.
Are taxes and shipping included in the price?
Taxes and shipping are extra, and vary by destination. Wine Lover and Enthusiast Club members pay half the costs associated with shipping. Connoisseur's Club members receive free shipping in California.
How will I be billed?
We will bill your credit card upon each wine allocation for the retail value of the wines, less your member discount.
Can I choose the wines that I receive in my allocation?
Absolutely. We will ask for your preferences during the release. Please note that this is subject to wine availability and requests will be honored on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Can I have a wine allocation shipped to another person?
Yes. You may have your wine allocation sent to another person, as long as the destination is within Char Vale shipping areas and the recipient is over 21 years of age.
Do I get free tasting?
As a valued member of Char Vale's wine club, you receive complimentary tastings for you and up to five guests, depending on club level membership.
What if I need to cancel?
Please give the winery a call in the event that you need to cancel your membership. Please note that we require 1 year of membership receiving at least two wine club allocations prior to cancellation, for you to avoid an early cancellation charge.
